Dr. Chet Nastala is a board-certified plastic and general surgeon who joined PRMA in 2002 and helped build a top breast reconstruction program. He leads research on nerve regeneration (TruSense) and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) to improve patient outcomes. Previously, he taught at UT Health Science Center, earning national recognition for plastic surgery education and trauma care. He’s held leadership roles in the San Antonio International Society of Plastic Surgeons.
