His passion for teaching began during his residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where he received numerous honors, including the prestigious Charles C. Moore Teaching Award. Dr. Nastala has also held leadership roles as Secretary, Vice President, and President of the San Antonio International Society of Plastic Surgeons.
