Dr. Charles H. Wilson, IV completed his undergraduate education at Auburn University and received his medical degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Following his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, he completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction and sports medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York with experts and pioneers in total knee replacement.
Dr. Wilson is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has a subspecialty certificate in sports medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
His practice focuses on total joint replacements and sports medicine. Dr. Wilson has a special interest in knee replacement surgery, including complex and revision knees and knee sports injuries. He is a team physician for UMS-Wright Preparatory School.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Wilson enjoys fishing and hunting.

Very good Doctor and nurse service
Dr Wilson did my left knee surgery in 2018 and now my right knee. He’s unbearable is an unbearable surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery

As always it’s a pleasure working with Dr. Wilson, he always takes plenty of time with me and always makes sure that I fully understand everything that’s going on and truly cares about his patients…I have dealt with multiple orthopedic doctors and he is by far the best and most caring orthopedic doctor that I’ve dealt with…would most definitely recommend him to anyone who I know or anyone!!!
