Dr. Charles W. Hartzog, Jr., M.D. graduated summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Biology at Birmingham Southern College and received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He finished a transitional year internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Hartzog went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson, MS.

Dr. Hartzog is absolutely wonderful, but having to wait 2 hours in the waiting room is ridiculous.
My visit was nice. The staff is very professional.
Everything about my visit was great. From reception, to nurses to X-ray techs and most importantly, Dr. Hartzog. EXCEPTIONAL care!

He is always attentive to what I have to say and answers all my questions. Knee replacement is next!
Love Dr Hartzog but the NP....not so much. She doesn't seem to care about her patients and doesn't give clear info. I will request Dr Hartzog from now on.
