Dr Thompson seems to care about patient concerns and wellness. My only complaint is wait time to see the doctor. I have an elderly mother and we normally wait 2 hours to see the doctor.

After waiting a year for an appointment you sit in the lobby for over an hour then when your name is called to go to a waiting room and they tell you, the doctor will be in shortly after another hour of waiting, and no one even having the courtesy to open the door to check on you or to inform you that the doctor had an emergency or he’s running behind, etc. Very poor service !!!!!!

Dr. Thompson is a "blue collar" professional. He can communicate well with all levels of society. He doesn't force unnecessary tests and places his energy on finding root cause(s). He found my blockages in which led to my triple bypass 10 years ago.

Waited 2 hours to be seen and then rushed out as fast as possible. Felt as if I was spoken to as a child and unable to ask questions due to being talked over. I was very hopeful that this was an isolated incident. However, this was the second occurrence. Dr Thompson seems knowledgeable and has explained options very well, and that is why I didn't rate him as terrible. I hope other patients are listened to and given time to explain their concerns

I love Dr. Thompson, And he has helped tremendously me over the years. He has a way of seeing things outside the box, so I’ve gotten used to some of his unusual bed side manners. However my last few visits I feel a little cheated because he doesn’t take much time with me, I would at least like him to sit down, and that way I can collect my thoughts and perhaps ask questions.

Explained all of our test's very well and answered all our questions. Was very patient with us, and informed us of our options.

I’ve always liked Dr. Thompson ever since my heart attack and he put the stent in me ; Had no complications since; He put my wife’s pacemaker in with same results of no complications since; He’s very professional and personable; explains every procedure thouroughly and in a manner that anyone can understand; and until or unless the level of care that he provides he will remain my cardiologist,Period!

It’s a little wait to see Dr Thompson because when he gets in the room he spends a lot of time with you learning about you and explaining everything to you. His assistant was great too! Well worth the wait !! He is a down to earth Doctor and I like that. I actually enjoyed the visit.

Why schedule a 7:15 apt when Dr. doesn't get there til 7:30 Why does it take an hour to have a routine checkup when you are the first apt of the day? Weigh, vitals, review meds, ekg, 5 minute conversation with your doctor should not take 1 hour!!!
