Hughes is the best doc I have ever had. So knowledgeable and really takes the time to sit down and answer all questions and have a real conversation. He’s a straight shooter and just tells it like it is. Very calming presence. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Hughes is interested in general urology, including BPH, erectile dysfunction, kidney stone disease, robotic surgery and urologic cancers. His training had an emphasis on stone disease, focusing on the medical management for the prevention of recurrent stones and surgical intervention, including PCNL, for current kidney stones. Dr. Hughes enjoys providing personalized care for patients, with thorough explanations of medical options and rationale for treatment in order to develop an individualized plan.
Dr. Hughes lives with his wife in Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, woodworking, and saltwater aquariums.
