Dr. Charles F. Paglia is a board-certified optometric physician with years of experience in the field. He practices primary care optometry with special interests in the treatment of unusual refractive errors and contact lens vision correction. Due to his own need for eyeglasses and contact lenses, he has always found vision and the science of optics interesting.

Dr. Paglia’s number one priority is his family. He and his wife Lee Ann have been married for over thirty years. Together they have a daughter, Maria, and a son, John. With passions including traveling, scuba diving, and sailing Dr. Paglia is happy to call Florida home. He looks forward to delivering full-scope primary eye care to the patients of Ocala Eye.

Dr did not advise me that he was retiring and that I would see another doctor other than him. I am sad that I was not informed by Dr Pagliia himself during my visit with him today. I thought that he and I had a very good relationship. I’m sad and hurt!
Dr. Paglia is a very good Dr. and his nurse was so helpful.
Very professional and informative.
As always, professional, efficient and friendly.
Dr. Paglia is a wonderful doctor!
He seemed to be in a hurry-office was extremely busy. Also, he told me I had a macular separation and retinal bleeding but gave no information about activity management; until I asked him specific questions. Then he said I “could “ be careful and not overdo it “if I wanted “. When speaking with retinal specialist office. They denied any notation of macular or retinal detachment; only PVD-no one ever explained what PVD was
I got the impression he didn't want me to speak. Especially when he told me to put my teeth together
This was my first time at Ocala Eye and my first time meeting Dr. Paglia. He has a very good bedside manner and explained his findings clearly. I have already made my appointment with him for next year.
Willing to spend time with you to answer all questions. Always a pleasant greeting when he enters the room. Feel very confident with his expertise.
Always great! Heard he is retiring…We will miss him!
