He is a good physician. Usually attentive but this particular visit, he wasn’t. My visit ended really quick. We discussed my back problem briefly. He did not express much concern. He asked what has my blood pressure been but the nurse took my pressure before I was seen by him. So he should’ve already known. He did bring up that I lost Weight. Before seeing him, the paperwork they had me fill out I included that I had a little anxiety and am depressed noting that my dad recently passed. But he didn’t bring it up.

On 1/8/22 I learned from my cardiologst that a fever of 101 in an adult would cause a heart rate of 145. When I consulted Dr Boackle on 1/3/22 regarding fever and heart rate he did not have a diagnosis other than watch the heart rate over the weekend and come in Monday, 1/7/22 if it was still high. My Podiatrist prescribed an antibiotic on 1/4/22 based on the logic that if I had a fever, then I had an infection that needed antibiotics. It was probably wrong one but it has helped. Fever and heart rate improved but not sure it is resolved. Expected an Internal Medicine to be up to date and able to handle small issue. Very disappionted that I had to take care of finding care. With 45 years in Healthcare I knew something was wrong. What about the illiterate patient that puts their trust in a doctor and has a bad result because he/she did not know to continue to pursue.

Dr. Boackle was lovely when I went in on an urgent basis (my first time to see him) with a UTI. He dropped the ball and did NOT call the script in on Fri night, but I called on Sat, and he was on call, so he fixed that right away and called in (or sent in--however y'all do that) to my pharmacy.
