I have absolutely loved having Dr. Boackle as my physician. I have been a patient of his for years and I hate that he is retiring (for myself), but very happy for him and his family. Having a physician that actually listens to what I am saying about my body and any issues, was wonderful. He always had a frank and honest discussion with me and explained in detail what his medical recommendations were. I will miss him!

Been going to him for the past almost 10 yrs great doctor very friendly and has an amazing nurse Mrs. Ebony.
Dr. Charles Boackle, an Alabama native, graduated from Auburn University in 1975 with a degree in Pharmacy. After entering the field of pharmacy, he elected to return to school and obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Boackle is one of the founding physicians of Internal Medicine Specialists. Dr. Boackle currently serves as the Laboratory Director for the practice. Dr. Boackle is married, the father of two children, and enjoys gardening and swimming.
