He was very slow, but apologized for taking so long . Was glad to be able to get an appt very fast.. He had great bedside manner. Didnt check my ears . He made sure to temind me to pull my mask up over my nose and that I would have to go straight out without stopping at desk as usual …, I did not have covid or the flu . I can understamd that he is being very cautious and lookibg out for staff. It just rubbed me the weong way when he asked me to pull up my mask midway into the visit with him…. I used to work with Dr who never expected a patient to wear a mask. And we always had follks coughing on us all day long …. we never told anyone to pull up their mask ! Or to make them even wear one . If I wanted to be protected , I would just wear one myself…
Anyway, Back to the visit. I got tbere around 8:00 am and left around 9:30 a.m. .. It was fast getting to the back … I just had to wait extra long sittibg in the tiny exam room stareing at the wall.. i

He’s always made sure he kept up with all my aspects of life, meditation, problems and all. He’s the best and I wouldn’t trade him for nothing! He’s cares about his patients and not just the money.

Dr. Charles Boackle, an Alabama native, graduated from Auburn University in 1975 with a degree in Pharmacy. After entering the field of pharmacy, he elected to return to school and obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Boackle is one of the founding physicians of Internal Medicine Specialists. Dr. Boackle currently serves as the Laboratory Director for the practice. Dr. Boackle is married, the father of two children, and enjoys gardening and swimming.
