The overall experience has been exceptional!!! Starting with the front office staff, they were helpful and accommodating. PA Javier was extremely thorough in walking me through the entire process and answered all of my questions. Dr. Gray was thorough in explaining my options and providing what he strongly recommended for me to make the best decision. Surgery day was organized and on schedule which I appreciated. While this was a major surgery the experience provided by Dr. Gray and his staff made it seamless and a positive experience!!! Would highly recommend this group, Dr. Gray and his entire staff!!!

Crazy to say, but I knew after a few minutes this was the surgeon I wanted to work on my knee. I saw a few dictors along the way but I never got the right vibe. I just knew he was the one at the first meeting. He was kind and took the time to really explain what was wrong and what had to be done. Jusr recently my surgery was completed.. I was petrified -- his office is crazy busy ...

Dr Gray has been phenomenal as he spends as much time needed during appointments to discuss medical treatment and to answer any questions and has a wonderful calming demeanor. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Gray obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he was elected to the AOA Medical Honors Society and graduated with honors after attending college at Princeton University. He completed his internship, residency, and research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where he served as Academic Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery of the Hip and Knee at the University of California San Francisco.
He is active and serves in leadership positions in several national organizations, such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Association.
Before joining the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Gray was the division chief and William Petty Endowed Professor in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville, winning multiple honors.
He is an active researcher, with publications including improving value for patients and patient-reported outcomes in hip and knee replacement, outpatient hip and knee surgery, and improving pain control after hip and knee replacement.
