Had been going to Duke Eye Center. After considerable damage was done to the vision in my left eye, I was very fortunate to find this doctor. He is knowledgeable and provides comprehensive answers to my questions. He provides excellent care in managing my glaucoma.

Extremely caring doctor. He listened intently to my explanation of my issue and without any discomfort was able to quickly get the object out of my eye which instantly relieved my discomfort. He explained that due to me coming in to him right after the object got embedded in my eye, so he coukd remove it, it prevented any real damage to my eye. He SO put me at ease. He also waited for me a few minutes past closing time. That showed me he deeply cared about me, someone he had never met before. I could not be happier with his service, and his caring attitude. He explained things about what had happened to my eye & relieved my fears. Awesome doctor.

Dr. Brasington's nurse Karen squeezed me into the doctor's schedule this morning because of a reaction I was having to some eye drops. Both of them took enough time with me to deal with my issue quickly and efficienty but in their usual reassuring, friendly way. This is what health care should look like.

Prsacribed meds that can damage kidneys. Having already suffered kidney damage in past I had to decline the med. and am doing fine without it.

While I felt comfortable with his expertise, I have no insurance and was charged $150 for 5 minutes of his time. Hard for a struggling family with no insurance at all. Especially when the day before, my husband was seen for almost the exact same thing but more testing was involved and the Dr he saw only charged him $90. I understand we are paying them for a service, my issue is why different amounts and why so much for already struggling families with no insurance.

I took my 87 year old mother for her appointment today. She had the most amazing nurse. Barbara Dunning had a very caring nature. She asked lots of questions, taking a genuine interest in what my mother had to say. My mother felt very well cared for today.

He knows medicine but always runs late with scheduled appt. time. My last appt. I wanted 40 minutes.

I had a medical problem entering the exam room so I couldn't get my eye exam. Karen quickly kept me from falling and got me seated.. Doctor Brassington took me blood pressure which was low and suggested I go to the emergency room. I thank them both.

My last appointment I could not see the letters with my right eye clearly; had a retina check which was ok - no changes from last year; so did eye test again with Brasington and could not make out letters clearly again but was told to get new lens and should help the blurry vision. I asked how could new lens help when I could not make out the letters in the office clearly without moving my head to focus. Never could see all 5 of them without moving my eye focus. It was still fuzzy but could finally make out some of them. My husband told me i should have called back but did not. Have always been satisfied with Brasington but this time I did not understand new lens when I could not see the letters. If i can not see better in 3 weeks when the lens comes in I will be talking with someone. I did have a laser treatment a few weeks ago - not sure if that is a problem or not.

Daughter came here after seeing a physician online yesterday for an eye infection. She woke up today with half her face swollen, red and painful. Dr spent 5 minutes with her, pressed on the eyelid and said there was nothing he could do. Then charged her $170. The online physician did far more and was more attentive and it only cost $25. Very disappointed in the lack of care. She said he was a complete dick to her and rude.
