Dr. Chad Nicholson received his undergraduate degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in Chemistry. Prior to entering medical school, he served as a Senior Research Technician at Emory University School of Medicine. He received his MD from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. His post-graduate training in internal medicine, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology were completed at Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

Dr. Chad Nicholson received his undergraduate degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in Chemistry. Prior to entering medical school, he served as a Senior Research Technician at Emory University School of Medicine with a focus on ischemia-reperfusion injury in a preclinical model with numerous publications to his name. He received his MD from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. His post-graduate training in internal medicine, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology were completed at Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He was awarded resident of the year and served as chief resident during his 3rd year of internal medicine residency. During his general cardiology training he was selected to be chief fellow. His interventional cardiology training included complex training in coronary, peripheral vascular disease, aortic diseases, carotid artery disease, and venous interventions. Dr. Nicholson is double board certified in internal medicine and general cardiology. He also has additional training in nuclear cardiology for which he is also board certified. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Eliza, and doing outdoor activities such as hiking and running with his dog. He is also a die hard fan of Atlanta sports, and enjoys traveling.
