One of my 2 favorite doctors. Intelligent and a great listener. Explains things so well. Wish all doctors were as excellent!

He talked and listened to me about my sign and symptoms

Friendly staff but if you call a nurse they may take a week to return your call.

I was given a medication that caused dangerously high blood pressure. I called the office several times, and spoke to someone, possibly a nurse or a medical assistant. I never got any help. I called my cardiologist who saw me the same day, I called and ended up calling an ambulance. I have never had worse care anywhere as I did with this office.

The doctor is fine. His office staff is rude and inefficient.

Because I don’t have active symptoms, I never get to see Dr. Alappatt. I have to see either a physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner.

Only saw me once then turned me over to the nurse practitioner.

Very skilled and personable!

He told me he has patients in the waiting room who are worse off than me. Completely dismissed my pain and did not treat me after I was having significant side effects of my medication.

My first visit changed my life for the better.

Wish that he would spend more time with me and explain what is processes are. Also listen to what my symptoms are not in medical terms that hurts my self esteem and feelings

He was suppose to talk with my GI doctor about med options for treating both my UC and psoriatic arthritis and get back with me. Neither him nor anyone else at the office reached back out to me. What makes it worse is that my GI’s office reached out to them 9 times over 2 months with zero response back.

Office staff charges over what ins pays & according to my ins co dr is supposed to accept what they pay per agreement

I came in with a bad problem & he just blew me off!!!! I had a 4:30 appointment last one of the day and I think everyone in the office just wanted to hurry and get rid of me so they could leave

I didn’t become a patient of his to see his nurse practitioner every time. She’s not very helpful. I ask about other medication options she basically says that there’s really nothing else until something new comes out. I ask to see Dr. Allappat instead of the NP and I’m told he’s booked for months. He’s not seeing “ his “ patients, but still getting paid for a Dr. Office visit. I will be switching to someone else. He’s gotten too big for his britches, so to speak. No point in surveys. He has enough business that this survey won’t even be acknowledged. I’ve seen him for YEARS. It’s really quite sad that money is more important than helping his patients. He used to care. If his NP was really qualified to help patients that are in pain, she would be an actual rheumatologist.

I am doing better after starting treatment. Many days with no ache or sausage fingers. Much less stiffness and signicant decrease in chronic fatigue. A few more months in treatment/me

Dr. Alappatt is a very caring and attentive rheumatologist. Can’t say anything but positives about him.

I’ve been going to Dr. Alappatt for several years now. He is such a great doctor and I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 19. I’m 73 now. Since I’ve been going to him my arthritis has been under control and I feel really good.

My initial visit was fine, but ended up leaving with a lot of unanswered questions. I tried to get these questions answered in my second visit and felt completely shut down by the Dr. I didn't feel heard and felt like he completely disregarded the emotional aspect of the pain I was in. He was short with me and only cared about pushing medicine.

I was apprehensive about giving up my visits with Dr. Alappatt because of the new patient demand. However, after Dr. Alappatt care I'm as stable with Enbrel I believe is the best to expect. I'm blessed. It still hurts but am grateful. Anyway, your clinical staff is the best! So much...I don't miss you Doc at all!!🤗 Lol...have a great day and a blessed year!

This rating is for how the office is ran. Horrible phone service. Absolutely horrible. You can’t ever speak to a human, they never answer the phone and when you leave a message, THEY WILL NOT call you back! Spoke to the manager numerous times and she is extremely rude!!! If it wasn’t so hard to find another rheumatologist, I would not be coming here any longer but the wait lists are crazy.

Dr Alappatt, his nurses, all staff have not only been found with the GREATEST of compassion, but THOROUGH and EFFICIENT care...which excells a caliber above what i have ever experienced.
