Great Communications, Surgery went very well. 6 week followup with Dr. Lagan and his staff also was very positive and reassuring.

His assistant was very pleasant and helpful. Dr lagan his intelligent and seems to be very caring. However I was wearing a bone and joint tank top when I came to the clinic that I had bought at a garage sale a couple years earlier. He insinuated that I should leave it in the examination room before I left. I do feel he was out of line when I questioned him about having to leave the shirt. ( Not cool). I actually did leave the shirt. Other than that five stars.

Dr. Lagan is very knowledgeable in his field. He listens to his patients concerns. He made me feel comfortable all through my care with him. He is very out-going and polite. He is everything I look for in a surgeon and doctor.

Only problem was after we discussed all the options for my shoulder and decided on surgery, also talking to him about the fact the we are scheduled to head to Texas by the last week in February, also the ability to play golf this summer-I felt I’d be able to get in rather quickly for the surgery. First date I can get for surgery is February 20, therefore we can’t make our departure date for Texas and I’m not sure if they will refund our money. Wait until after the Texas trip and I’m out of golf for the full season. I know he didn’t mess up my shoulder, but it was like everything we discussed in the exam room was a waste of time.

As usual specialty beats out treating the whole person. Medicare rules with its payment of 80% that takes half of a monthly Social Security and I still have to come up with the 20% of total bill that you never knowing the amount you have to pay unttil the bill arrives
