Casey Kuripla, MD

Dr. Casey Kuripla, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, providing advanced care for sports injuries, fractures, tendon and ligament conditions, deformity, and arthritis of the foot and ankle. She treats both acute injuries and chronic conditions, with a focus on helping patients return to movement safely and confidently.

Dr. Kuripla earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University, where she received extensive training in orthopedic trauma. She completed a Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital / Mercy Medical Center Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in Baltimore, Maryland, training under leaders in the field.

Her clinical interests include ankle sports injuries, chronic tendinopathies, foot deformity, trauma of the foot and ankle, and total ankle replacement. She also has a special interest in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, cartilage restoration, and biologic augmentation.

Dr. Kuripla believes in patient-centered orthopedic care, taking time to understand each patient’s activity level and goals in order to personalize treatment plans and optimize outcomes.
