She treats both acute injuries and chronic conditions, with a focus on helping patients return to movement safely and confidently.
Dr. Kuripla earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University, where she received extensive training in orthopedic trauma. She completed a Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital / Mercy Medical Center Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in Baltimore, Maryland, training under leaders in the field.
Her clinical interests include ankle sports injuries, chronic tendinopathies, foot deformity, trauma of the foot and ankle, and total ankle replacement. She also has a special interest in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, cartilage restoration, and biologic augmentation.
Dr. Kuripla believes in patient-centered orthopedic care, taking time to understand each patient’s activity level and goals in order to personalize treatment plans and optimize outcomes.

Excellent and a pleasure to work with.
One hour late and had me do X-ray. I’m sure a quick exam first would have eliminated the need for the x-rays.

Dr Kuripla was so approachable and listened to my pain “issues”. She prioritized several ways to help, most not requiring surgery.
Had a great visit. MD was kind and nice enough to introduce me to her NP before heading out to do an unplanned surgery.
Dr. Kuripla has phenomenal bedside manner. She is very warm and friendly, she answered every single question that I had thoroughly and taking her time, not making me feel rushed. The office staff at the Duxbury office was very friendly and nice to work with. My surgery is going to be a very difficult and she took the time to explain all the other options to me before we landed on the specific surgery for me. She came highly recommended to me by the Physical Therapist I am working with for my injury. Three other physical therapists in the office had also shared patients with her and all had very positive things to say about her, all of which I found to be true! I would highly recommend Dr. Kuripla. As a fellow healthcare provider, I’ve seen many many physicians over the years and how they interact with patients and Dr. Kuripla is right up there with one of the most professional providers I have had a pleasure to meet.
