She treats both acute injuries and chronic conditions, with a focus on helping patients return to movement safely and confidently.
Dr. Kuripla earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University, where she received extensive training in orthopedic trauma. She completed a Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital / Mercy Medical Center Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in Baltimore, Maryland, training under leaders in the field.
Her clinical interests include ankle sports injuries, chronic tendinopathies, foot deformity, trauma of the foot and ankle, and total ankle replacement. She also has a special interest in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, cartilage restoration, and biologic augmentation.
Dr. Kuripla believes in patient-centered orthopedic care, taking time to understand each patient’s activity level and goals in order to personalize treatment plans and optimize outcomes.

Casey was very warm, listen to my concerns, explained very clearly what was going on, and answered my questions respectfully and in a clear way.

This is my second time seeing Dr. Kuripla. She performed surgery on one of my ankles in 2021. The fact that she changed to a different practice since then, and that I sought her out in order for her to treat my current broken foot is pretty much all I need to say. I did not want to see anyone else after my experience with her in 2021. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a foot and ankle specialist.
