He was very standoffish and dismissive of my complaints. While I understand he’s the licensed professional, it’s my body and I’m aware when something isn’t right. I’ve never met with a physician for the first time and all we spent was 4 mins in the room together. It made me feel like, he felt he had better things to do.

Dr. Case M. Wood, M.D., is a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina. He received a B.S. in Business Economics from Wofford College and later went on to earn his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Wood completed his general surgery internship and urologic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, one of the nation’s premier urology training programs. While in residency, Dr. Wood received extensive training in robotic and endoscopic surgery as well as men’s health. He has also authored numerous publications and national presentations in the field of urology.
Dr. Wood treats all areas of urology, with a focus on minimally invasive/robotic-assisted surgery for urologic malignancies and upper urinary tract reconstruction, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stone disease, and men’s health including erectile dysfunction, low testosterone and Peyronie’s disease.
In his free time, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and three sons, Crew, Beau, and Tripp. His hobbies include boating, fishing, golf, and grilling. He and his family attend First Baptist Church of Charleston.
