Honestly this was easily the best experience I’ve ever had in any healthcare related interaction! Dr. Rider is the most personable, informative and caring doctor that I have ever met. I understand that doctors are limited on time and have a great deal of pressure on them from the medical industry. Because of that I have gotten used to doctors getting burnt out and just treating me like a dollar sign and not a human. Having said that, this was one of the first human experience I have had with a doctor and I am very grateful for that. Also, this is my first time back to Campbell’s clinic after having a bad experience with one of their doctors 11 years ago that lead me to switch to ortho memphis, but after this experience I think I will try Campbell’s clinic again.

Dr. Rider has provided excellent care for my foot problems. He did everything he could to help me avoid surgery and that worked for 3 years. Finally surgery became the only option that would allow me to remain active. The surgery was successful, recovery went as planned. I’m not as good as new but but I’m getting close! I have and will continue to recommend Dr Rider.

Dr. Rider is my favorite orthopedic doctor out of all the ones I've had. He's so excited to help people and see them get back to normal life again. Because he was an intern at my last surgery 5 years ago, and specializes in cerebral palsy, I knew he was the best. He has given me hope for the first time in 5 years and we've had success! For starters, I love that he came in with a handshake and a smile. I also love that he was really concerned about my injury and gave me step by step instructions on how to take care of my injury. I told him that I was getting ready to move to San Antonio, TX and he got me set up with a doctor in San Antonio, TX! I couldn't ask for more from a genuine doctor with excellent care.

This Dr. gave me vitamin D for a broken leg without even prescribing any pain medication. He wants me to wear a boot and walk on it for a week so that he can tell me I need surgery next week. My leg hurts so badly that I can’t even stand. If you want me to be able to walk on it, shouldn’t you prescribe something for pain?

I love this guy he's really down to earth, and I can understand everything he tells me. Sometimes doctor speak above your comprehension, but not Dr. Rider he's the best.

Dr. Rider is thorough and great at providing explanation for his treatment decisions. He is one of those stellar physicians who generally cares about his patients and really takes time to address concerns. Dr. Rider really knows what he is doing and is treating my individual healthcare needs, which is like a breath of fresh air after having my foot problems written off or explained away by so many other providers.

After seeing other foot & ankle specialists with no results, I booked an appointment with Dr. Rider based on reviews I saw online. Since this is what I did previously, I was not expecting a miracle. Would he be able to help or care enough to listen to my plight? I’m ecstatic to report that Dr. Rider far exceeded my expectations! He was very kind, ACTUALLY examined my feet & ankles, and assessed why I had been in so much pain for the past 8-9 months. It was the first time I heard this diagnosis which he explained in terms that I could understand. Most importantly he didn’t prescribe unnecessary surgeries or medications, but started with a set of foot & ankle braces for support, a coupon to purchase comfortable sneakers that may help while I’m healing, and a prescription for physical therapy. All during my first visit! Mind blown! I highly recommend Dr. Rider for your podiatry needs. For the first time in almost a year, I am hopeful that I will be walking pain-free.Thanks to Dr. Rider!

He was very attentive to my questions & comments, plus he didn’t act like any of my questions were dumb. He didn’t act like I was making him late for whatever. It was just such a refreshing experience after seeing a different doctor there (twice) who was the flip side of all these comments.

I really thought he was great. Very thorough and didn't rush to answer all my questions. We are hoping for the best with physical therapy. I would definitely refer him to anyone with foot issues.
