She doesn’t rush you and treated me very well.

Dr. McClanahan was very professional and knowledgeable. She addressed every issue that I brought to her attention, and discovered several more that I want aware of. She explained everything very clearly. I am exceptionally pleased with the results of my visits.

I was in and out pretty quick. The deduction of one star is because the office made me fill out paperwork and then handed me a tablet and made me answer the exact same questions on the tablet so that was a good waste of time And then she did take care of the item on my face and she did tell me it would blister, but I did not realize how much it would blister and I think it would have been nice to warn me. It could take a month because what if I had to go to a wedding next weekend which I did with a bandage on my face it sucked

I went in for my first skin check and questions regarding adult acne. Maybe I’ve just gotten weary of western medicine, but this was the first time I’ve ever seen a doctor where I wasn’t actually asked any questions about my history or experiences before being written prescriptions. It felt like she was just putting a bandaid on the issue, and maybe even a bandaid she gets paid for writing. I feel like she barely even looked at my skin, especially on my face. I have dry skin and a history of hypothyroidism and the prescriptions she wrote would make both of those conditions worse. And potentially not even fix the issue, I would just be on these pills forever. I’m sorry but there has to be a better way to treat and speak to your patients.

Dr. McClanahan conducted a thorough skin cancer screening. She even sent a sample of my skin to be biopsied because the skin looked suspicious. Although it was my first time visiting Dr. McClanahan, I could tell that she took pride in helping her patients.

She is the best. Thought I was dying and eaten alive. Spent one night at Centural. Thank God for Ms Brown PC. Next night at Penrose. Given an Atibiotic and se t home. Landed in Emergency at Saint Fransis and hospitalized for 3 days. Let go with no conclusion as to why my body is swollen beyond recognition. Went and saw Dermotologist Caral Mc Clanahan. One shot cream and anibiotics.. I am doing so much better. I felt relief by the following day of seeing my wonderful and incredible Demetologist Carol McClanahan

Appointment 1 she tells me go get x done. OK I get x done. 3 months later finally get back in just to be told to now go get y done. Whole time I'm not getting treatment I need and have to take off work and pay $50 co-pay just to be told "Yea well, they should have told you last time to get everything done". Just not respectful of my time and money.

Appointment felt rushed - about 15 minutes including getting dressed/undressed. Doctor looked a few spots I pointed out and very quickly. This was my first time to see a dermatologist. My mom and sister had skin cancer. I left feeling silly for even going.

During my visit I had a full body check. After Dr. McClanahan determined all of my concerns were “wisdom” spots she froze a handful I asked about. As I was getting dressed I realized there were two spots I had not mentioned that had been bothering me. I went out of the room and asked a staff member if I could see Dr. McClanahan again. I waited in the room and Dr. McClanahan came back in. I was shocked at how unprofessional she was when I asked her if she could freeze the two spots. She rudely explained she didn’t mind doing a couple, but if she was going to have to be “coming back and forth” into the room and freezing a “ton” of these, then it was going to be considered cosmetic and she would have to charge me $150. I told her I didn’t mind paying, I just thought it was best to get them done since I was still in the office. I have no problem with her telling me what the office considers is the difference between a medical and cosmetic appointment, but her delivery was horrible.

Well I took my kids and she really didn’t look of what the problem was she just prescribed them thing. She didn’t even make sure my kids type of skin she just ask them (14-15) years old what type of Skin you have and she went with what my kids said. I don’t know why she didn’t get close enough To check or even pretend to check. I expected a little bit more oh besides the antibiotics the cream and soap where prescribe was CeraVera things we bought before. I will find a different Dermatology since she apparently hates her job. The medical assistants where great
