I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and the delay was not acknowledged or apologized for, which felt discourteous. When I was finally seen, the provider addressed the medical issue in a mechanical, rushed manner, showing little empathy or concern for how I was feeling. While the explanation of the issue was clear, the overall lack of compassion and the unacknowledged wait left me feeling unheard and distraught when I left the office.
