This was my 2nd visit with Dr
Monterros in a month...I came with an array of medical issues..He ordered a work up. He explained results to me in an awesome manner that i could understand..He is very caring and i felt he really wanted to make me start to feel better.. awesome visit..

I was worried about getting a new Dr cuz my previous Dr was leaving the practice.. Dr Monterroso (my new Dr) has been wonderful . I have had and am going through health issues and he seems to really engage.. I never feel pressured and he is such a kind Dr.. sometimes we just need that, especially when we're going through emotional issues and we think no one understands, well he understands.. I get to the Dr visit feeling down and I leave knowing my Dr is knowledgeable, sincere and actually cares about his patients.. I'm one lucky woman . Gonzaba has been a lifesaver for me and I'm happy with all staff members there.. I'm glad I'm going through my cancer journey with Dr Monterroso by my side .

He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Montgomery Campus, Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, Alabama.
