Front desk made a big seen over 45 dollars that I was never told up front that insurance did not cover for tefactory on eyes. They broke Privacy act by talking so loud and rude to me that people in wait in room heard them and was staring! It was there error not mine. The China or Vietnamese kept yelling at me ! And talk about break HIPPA act shr did.. the dr said since Medicare said I was not responsible on Rob as they did not tell me. She behind arguing real loud. Then she said the dr said he wouldn’t charge for

Dr. Carlos Calvo, O.D. joined our practice in 2023. He was raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and attended high school in Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. He completed his undergrad in the ‘Universidad Latina de Costa Rica’, where he obtained his Bachelor degree in Optometry. Throughout school he volunteered with Canadian Vision Care, assisting rural areas of Costa Rica. He continued his education at the ‘Universidad Europea de Madrid’ in Spain, where he attained his Master’s Degree in Clinical Optometry. Soon after, Dr. Calvo attended the New England College of Optometry, where he obtained his Doctorate degree in Optometry, receiving honors in all his clinical rotations and was class president of the international optometry program.
Dr. Calvo is an optometric glaucoma specialist. He practices full-scope optometry, including the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as dry eye disease, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Dr. Calvo is also available to manage most ophthalmic emergencies, including injuries, traumas, and eye infections. He is also fluent in Spanish and accepting new patients.
Dr. Calvo enjoys spending time with his family and many outdoor activities, including tennis, fishing, and scuba diving.
He is a great Doctor. Very patient and thorough.
