Dr. Nechtman explains things very well. Points out issues on the xrays or mri, and looks to nominations solutions before recommending surgery. I also like his confidence. He is very personable. I trust him completely.

Today, I met Dr. Nechtman for the first time. Although I cannot rate him on his surgical skills, which is most important about a surgeon, he did give me a lot of his time and attention. Dr. Nechtman had an excellent bedside manner, answered all of my questions, gave me a neuro exam, reviewed my MRI findings, and made sure I understood the risks of my condition and risks of the surgery that would repair my neck. I look forward to seeing Dr. Nechtman again.

The only reason I'd rate 5 stars is because there isn't 6 stars. I had laminectomy surgery with decompression at St. Vincent's. Everything was as smooth as clockwork and the staff was great. Dr. Nechtman is extremely professional, personable a attentive. I would highly recommend Dr. Nechtman and St. Vincent's.
