Dr. Carl Byrd, D.O., has been practicing medicine since 2021. He’s originally from New Market, TN. After graduating from Carson-Newman University, he pursued his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA. Upon graduation from medical school, he served in the Orthopedic Surgery Residency program at East Tennessee State University. He is seasoned in Orthopedic Medicine with additional training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. His cross training makes him an asset to the community to treat patients including athletes and provide excellent care. He has served in the sports medicine team that cares for Morristown-Hamblen West High School athletes and supports the development and sports health of the Lakeway area students.
My experience with Dr.Byrd was exceptional. He listened to my problems with my wrist and immediately made a plan of action. His staff was working so hard to get be scheduled around my availability and I am so appreciative of that.
His was very efficient and took time to explain everything to me. He was very kind.
