For fellowship-trained hip and knee replacement specialist Carey Politzer, M.D., improving painful joints is his passion. His focus is treating hip and knee arthritis. “What I love most about this work is that I can help make people significantly better. I see people who struggle to walk around the block and then return them to their favorite hiking trail or back to the links. That is my motivation,” Dr. Politzer said.

Excellent explanation of problem with knee and treatment options.
I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Politzer. He is caring and warm, yet professional and knowledgeable. He lays out treatment options and talks you through what things may look like 6 months or a year down the road. He doesn't push surgery, although lets you know when that is the best option. I always feel like I'm in good hands.
Thorough and takes his time to explain things. You never feel that he is rushing through his session with you to get to his next patient. He is superb!!
Could not have had a better outcome. From my first visit through total hip replacement and follow up visits, everything went as smooth and seamless as possible. My recovery was unbelievable. Could not be happier. I give Dr. Politzer my absolute unconditional recommendation.
Dr. Politzer took his time to view my medical issue from different perspectives hip, bursa and spine. He then shared his interpretation clearly to me. Professional, thoughtful and personable. He has a great staff as well. Thanks to a all.
Excellent care and bedside manner!!! 2 weeks post op from Total knee replacement and I am walking half a mile!
Dr Carey listened, he advised me, and he physically examined me.
What I like about Dr. Politzer is that he focuses on the issue at hand, tells me what he sees from the x-rays, answers my questions, and all in such good humor. It is so nice to have a Doctor Who is joyful.
