I was referred to Dr. Pate from another retina surgeon in Cary due to the severity and immediate onset of my retinal detachment. Dr. Pate made sure to see me immediately that afternoon with no appointment and, he scheduled the surgery immediately as well. I'm pretty sure he didn't have room on his appointment book or surgery book but he took me in and made it happen. I never thought I would see the world normally out of my right eye again but Dr.Pate worked a miracle! I thank God all the time for Dr.Pate! He has a special gift/skill, and is definitely an Angel. Now, I see better than I did before my retina detached. Love you Dr.Pate! Every optometrist knows your name and they all say you are the BEST of the best and they are correct. ♥️♥️♥️

Both Dr Pate & The attendant that put the clip in my eye Laughed , not out loud but I could see the attendant uncontrollably silently laughing when the needle went into my eye. I have yet determined what was so funny between Dr Pate & His attendant . I do not hold against Taylor Retina Center , because my regular Dr Patel has Always been very kind and concerned and I feel comfortable with Dr Patel but today Dr Patel was on vacation. I have been treated by Taylor Retina Center for 3 years..

I waited from 8:20am to 10:10am before the doctor came in to see me. The entire exam (supposed to be a diabetic eye exam) took about 5 minutes. Previously my time with the doctor included more than him just looking into my eyes with a light and and magnifying glass. I am now second guessing that my eyes were fully examined.
