Dr. Cameron Phillips is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee, shoulder and hip surgery with a primary focus on sports medicine. He attended medical school at The University of Washington in Seattle and did his orthopedic residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York. He completed his sports medicine and orthopaedic fellowship at The Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson Mississippi.
"Having grown up in Missoula, Montana, I understand the importance of the ’work hard/play hard’ lifestyle enjoyed by so many in the Rogue Valley. I have trained everywhere from Seattle to New York City to the Deep South, and I couldn’t be more excited to settle with my family in beautiful Southern Oregon. My approach to Sports Medicine is comprehensive—listening carefully to my patients’ concerns and then using the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques to bring my patients the best care Sports Medicine has to offer. Whether I am treating an elite professional athlete working to get back out on the field, or a retiree simply trying to enjoy their daily routine without pain, I am dedicated to working closely with every patient through each step of improvement. He listens and then makes recommendations quickly- he got me through a tough patch and onto vacation and now it’s time for a deep dive into what’s wrong with my knee
He’s my surgeon. He’s supposed to stand behind me. Instead he was rude and at two weeks he grabbed my leg and straightened it and basically said if I don’t have it straight within one more week, I’ve done all this for nothing. Would not recommend.
He was honest, took time to answer my questions even if I wasn’t going to like the answer and he made sure my MRI was ordered and that I would be ready for surgery right after I receive the results of that MRI
Great person with all aspects of care with excellent assistance in and out of surgery rooms. Thank i am up and recovering well. The pain is gone and am greatful for ur care. Gold star Sr. Cheers

He strikes me as a very Competent and Caring Surgeon! He takes time to listen to any concerns, and provides his feedback. I would rate him at the TOP TEN on any "List!"
Dr. Phillips is very personable and caring. You have Dr. Phillips full attention when asking questions and he’s always able to answer those questions and reassure you.
He was very kind and knowledgeable.
Did not see Dr. Phillips. Saw technician to get new knee brace.
