Dr Eilts is super! He begins each visit with a greeting & handshake to my mom (his patient) and to myself (as her advocate). He listens to Mom's concerns and gives his honest opinion when answering our questions: today he clarified both the benefits and possible side effects of wearing a foot ankle orthotic. Through his assessment we were able choose our course of action. Dr Eilts always ends the appt with a parting handshake and reminder to call him with any questions or concerns.

I injured my foot again ( unrelated to the prior surgery) and Dr. Eilts welcomed me like he had operated on me yesterday ! He remembered everything about my foot , activity level, and my family. He diagnosed my new injury instantly and recommended non-surgical, non cortisone , etc approaches to the issue with a follow up if needed . I would recommend Dr Eilts to anyone with any foot problems . Too bad there is only one of him !

From someone who has had multiple issues with my feet, Dr. Eilts has always been straight with me. I may not always care for his answers, but in the end, he has been right. He corrected an issue another surgeon messed up, so I trusted him when it came to fixing subsequent problems. He does take his time with me, which I very much appreciate. He listens, even when you repeat yourself. He's patient and kind. He may not be easy to reach, but when you do, he does give you his full attention. I would recommend him (and have) without reservation.
