Dr. Calin Arimie, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Rosetti College of Basic Science. Next, he received his MD degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Southern California/LAC+USC Medical Center. Dr. Arimie went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Loma Linda University.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Arimie has served as the GI Lab Medical Director at West Hills Hospital since 2013. In 2009, he was named “Top Gastroenterologist” by the Consumers Research Council of America. The Council also ranked him as one of the top physicians nationwide in 2010. He is a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Arimie is married to his wife Raluca, a cardiologist, they have two children. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and playing tennis.

2 hour wait in waiting room then rushed to get moving as they needed the bed for the next person. Groggy, but I asked questions about my exam and they weren’t answered. Maybe he needed pathology? Maybe I was too groggy for the doctor visit? Also was told husband was waiting downstairs. Rush, rush. He didn’t come for 15-20 minutes.
Dr is very kind and explains everything my recent colonoscopy went very well everyone involved was caring, helpful and made the experience so easy Highly recommend Dr Arimie and staff
Felt cared for, in good hands. Finally not having to figure it all out myself. You can tell his is passionate about helping people. If we has more doctors like this the world would be a better place!
Very pleasant. You feel that really cares about his patient. He asked questions to get to know me and gave clear instructions regarding the procedure.
Was able to get an appointment quickly, office staff were helpful and the doctor was thorough and answered all my questions. He also helped me book a cardiologist for follow up of another problem!
Dr. Arimie is very thorough and listens to his patients. He made special arrangements for my colonoscopy to be approved and scheduled very quickly. He has one of the highest ratings as a practicing physician and I am very fortunate to be under his care.
