C. Noel Henley, M.D.

Met him once. You should not ask for a rating after seeing someone once. I have no basis for rating other than he was nice, he was professional, he was attentive, and he seems quite competent. But I didn't come for any of that. That is not at all why I am in front of this man. I came for a solution so asking me to rate him at this stage is the reason for the "Okay" rating. He very certainly could end up (at the completion of my experience) with an "Excellent" rating. This is all premature.

He is the best in my opinion!!!

Horrible bedside manner. Didn’t care to explain anything to me. Made a snarky comment about asking for pain medicine. When I told him my hand looked really swollen he scoffed and said it looked normal. Put me in a wrist cast leaving my broken bone exposed when I asked his staff how that was going to protect me they were no help. I tried to complain to office staff, no one cared. To him your just a patient that doesn’t matter, worst doctor encounter I’ve ever experienced, working on getting a referral to a different doctor.

He is very knowledgeable. Was on top what was wrong with my hands and has helped me with the problem. Gave me options. Highly recommend Dr Henley!

I had an MRI specifically for him to look at. He didn't look at the MRI so he didn't even have all the information to make a proper diagnosis. He scoffed when I was giving background information. Maybe he's a good doctor but I only saw a condescending jerk

It has been over a year since Dr. Henley did my carpal tunnel surgery in both hands. The feeling came back and I have been able to work so much easier. Now the arthritis in my trapezium joints and he was very straight forward about what that means. He gave me lidocaine shots in both joints and by the end of the next day I noticed a great deal of difference. I am thankful that he didn't beat around the bush and was honest that there is not a lot that can be done to fix this, but it is possible to get some relief. I work with my hands all day and without my thumbs it would be impossible. Dr. Henley understands my concern and he was gentle when he stuck the needles into my joints.

Not a bedside manner I’d recommend. Office staff was nice but the doctor was short and seemed in a huge hurry after we waited almost an hour to be seen.

Was under impression he was in a hurry, appt was rushed & felt we were “bothering” him…bedside manner could improve. However, heard he was a great surgeon & that’s what matters most.

The rudest doctor I have ever seen in my life. He mocks me. He doesn’t answer my questions. He insinuates that because I got hurt at work that is why I’m not doing well. He has no compassion or empathy. He doesn’t offer any comfort or explanation as to what is going on. He spends less than 5 minutes and he’s gone. I don’t recommend anyone to see him. He does mental harm.

So far my hand is healing well and he encouraged me to be patient.

I have just moved here from Louisiana and a was looking for good Orthopaedic dr.. but digger a chance to ask him about . I have never been to a Dr. In my life that didn’t want to know about a patient’s medical history but he didn’t and seemed very rude when I tried to tell him about mine. I would drive all the way back to Louyto see a Dr. there before I would ever see this Dr.C . Noel Henley ever again. I really hope he was just having a off day and he’s not like that all the time!!!!!

Felt disrespected at my follow-up appointment from surgery when discussing my level of pain. Also wasn't properly informed before surgery about everything (pins, what to expect,ect.) Lesson learned.

I have no clue this guys barely said 2 words to me and my teenager. He made us wait almost an hour for 3-5 minutes of his precious time.

Although I wasn’t with him but a few minutes, I did ask a fewofthe staff their opinions! All agreed, he is awesome!

Worst doctor appointment I've ever had. He rushed in rushed out did not give me any resolution or recommendations whatsoever. Talked over me every chance he had. When at a level 10 pain that's not the experience you want to have.

Received a lot of information

Very nice and knew exactly what the problem was.

Just really didn’t listen or care what was going on. Didn’t try to come up with a solution or have any empathy about the injury. Needless to say, we are going for a second opinion somewhere else. It’s really frustrating when you also work in healthcare and feel like a visit was so inadequate you have to go elsewhere!

This doctor is wonderful. He really stepped up to the plate when I needed his help the most. Even shorted his vacation to do so. He does need to actually give out pain killers after surgery. I was left scramming for pain relief after each operation, and also while recovering. Thankfully I save all unused meds, so did find pain relief through my own methods, but was very frustrated by the lack of pain reduction offered by Ozark Orthopaedic.

Very condescending attitude and no empathy at all. I found him to be very rude. He made me feel that any questions I asked were stupid. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Seems too rushed for questions. Poor bedside manner. Was told I would be limited for the rest of my life in the same tone you might order a sandwich.

My experience was great. I'm impressed with Dr. Henley , and his communication skills. Very nice as well.

I had personally brought my medical records, nerve study records, and CD with X-rays all the way up there to the clinic, but Dr Henley said all he had was a blank sheet. I guess that explains why he looked so blank as to why I was even there.

The doctor was fabulous but the front desk girl I talked to was terribly rude

Barely spent 5 minutes- was somewhat rude- felt like he thought we were wasting his time.

While he did give me appropriate advice, he made me feel my problem was trivial and almost a bother for him to have to deal with.

Seemed annoyed by me being there. Didn't describe injury, explain treatment plan, or give any information on when or how well I may heal. Suddenly and abruptly left. I've been injured for 5 weeks and haven't received any treatment or been shown what's broken where. I was hoping finally seeing the specialist would result in answers and future expectations. When I informed him I was previously told my injury was different then what he stated his response was, that doesn't make sense, with out any explanation further as to why they where so grately different.

His bedside behavior is the worst I’ve seen. I’ve been in healthcare for 16 years and that was appalling bedside behavior. Very unprofessional and passive aggressive. I’ve always been loyal to Ozark Ortho but unfortunately I’ll take my chances elsewhere going forward.

Great Doctor

Dr Henley wouldn’t answer my questions or had issues understanding them. He did not review my X-rays with me and just just said you broke your finger. I had to pry answers out of him for alternatives for surgery. He didn’t go over next steps and rushed out the door. He spent 5 mins max with me and I don’t think he smiled once. I felt intimidated and uncomfortable. Would not recommend!

Quick, friendly… even with bad news.

Gave completely inaccurate depiction of post-op recovery. Said verbatim “no restrictions, just wear your braces” I got watch pre-surgery videos and it says you can’t lift over 5lbs for so many weeks, among other restrictions…I have a 7 week old baby! That’s information I want up front at the consult not after the surgery is scheduled. Also the surgery info at the bottom it states something I found highly inappropriate as it pertains to complications occurring post-op: “don’t make them worse than they are, know yourself and act accordingly” as an experienced mental health therapist/provider in the area that sort of provider/patient dialogue is astonishing. Some empathy and bedside manner would go a long way.

Timely appointment. Dr took time to explain all to Mom(treatment plan and patient instructions for continued healing and recovery to as functional as possible before injury. All staff were kind and gentle and accommodating to her mobility needs.

Everything was very rushed. My pain was not believed and dismissed. He presented options but then said they would be a waste of time and wouldn’t help. I didn’t understand telling me about things that wouldn’t help. I left feeling defeated with little to no answers.
