Dr Hanby was very thorough with my visit for a possible hip surgery. But after examining my X-rays. No surgery is required for now. Doctor Hanby did see a lot of Arthritis in my lower back area & referred me to another Doctor & physical therapy facility for sessions for me to learn & use these exercises for myself to strengthen my problem area I have. Excellent service

Dr Hanby is a methodical, well thought out surgeon. He listened to all my complaints related to my last hip revision. In a matter of two weeks, Dr Hanby diagnosed and treated a hip infection, temporary hip replacement and 5 weeks after surgery scheduled the final permanent total hip replacement. I feel a million times better since the surgery, cannot recommend Dr Hanby enough!!!

The knee surgery was great on day 1!

My knee was so painful that it had substantially limited my ability to walk. Today, six weeks post-op, I am walking without pain. My walking improves every day and there is no more knee pain. My husband and I have already planned a trip to Portugal, and I plan to walk all over the place. Dr. Hanby is an excellent surgeon. Thanks to him, I can walk farther and better than I have in years.

I plan on using him for my next knee replacement also and would recommend him to friends.

Perhaps I have some mild PTSD from a long-standing injury years ago which took 8 months to get a proper diagnosis. I saw Dr. Hanby, with a history of a (different) sport's injury, and was asked if I'd thought of physical therapy or massage therapy. No. Never. I've only had this reoccurring injury for almost 30 years. I can't believe I didn't think of PT?!?! Where's my mind been?? I came here to fix the problem more permanently (i.e. finally having surgery!) I've had injections, seen acupuncturists, done A.R.T therapy...Name it, I've done it. I'm getting MRIs, so I guess that's a step toward seeing the issue that a physician within your office has already treated me for in the past after one of my many repeated injuries to the same tendon. Later he wrote on my chart that the MRI was to explore "lowback pain"? I have literally zero low back pain. I'll cross my fingers and hope. Starting over at square one, with a recurrent injury I'm now ready to FIX. Here's to being hopeful.

Dr Hanby clearly doesn’t want to fix my knee replacement that is out of alignment debilitating my activity, mental & physical wellness. I find myself very frustrated, sad, & disappointed. I’ve lived in this body 71 years and I know when & where my pain comes from. Doc didn’t look well today so that may ??? I should think measurements need done of my leg but feeling very dismissed of my observations & mechanics of my walking being affected.

Kris is sincere and dedicated to relieving your pain and to assist you in getting back to life’s adventures. My hip pain was so severe that most movement resulted in physical challenges that kept me from daily activity. His expertise and reputation brought me to his office. After my surgery of a hip replacement I now live a life of retirement with no pain and excellent physical movement at the age of 71. By the way, I was walking with assistance for safety purposes approximately 4/hrs after coming out of the recovery room and with all previous pain GONE. I was ready to get on with my life.
