I had appointment with Dr Willis but never saw him. His PA came in and talked to me. The surgery he did is doing well. I informed her I have been seeing pulmonologist for treatment of collapsed RML following the surgery. My xrays show that my lungs were fine prior to being intubated for the surgery on 7/12/24. It has affected my life negatively! The SOB has caused me major issues. He will be following my neck issues and wants to see me again in 3 months. He gave a referral for a orthopedic surgeon on regards to my L hip pain.
Apparently surgery is done only when truly needed. Very professional! I am a retired radiologic or surgery tech from Vanderbilt University Med Centet!
Explained the options in a plain, easily understandable and compassionate way! This Dr is amazing!
Dr. Willis is an amazing and compassionate doctor. He’s not your typical virgin who wants to cut you open right away. He takes a more conservative approach to treating his patients and make sure to use every possible avenue before going to the extremes of surgery. When he recommends something, you can believe him.
