Dr. Bryce Fugarino, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic hand, wrist, and elbow surgery. He is a member of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association and the American Academy for Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Fugarino is a Louisiana native, growing up in Hammond, and chose Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists because of “their reputation around the state for providing excellent medical care. They have a great quality of character and are great people on top of being excellent physicians.”
Dr. Fugarino joins Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists after completing his Fellowship in Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity at NYU Hospital for Joint Disease. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and went on to gain his medical degree and complete his residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Due to Dr. Fugarino’s time practicing medicine in both Louisiana and New York he passed the intensive medical exams twice to be fully licensed in both states.
Dr. Fugarino is an avid golfer and a fan of Notre Dame and Saints football. Most of his time off is spent with his wife, Jessica, and his two daughters. Dr. Fugarino will be practicing at our Lafayette and New Iberia clinics.

Great team
Dr.Fugarino was very patient, pleasant to talk to, and informative.
Spent time with me explaining what was wrong and the treatment options. He didn’t just rush visit to get to next patient which made me feel like he was listening and paying attention to me.
My experience was very good. I am very impressed with how on time they are with their appointments. Really appreciate the excellent care and willing to listen to my concerns about my hand
Great bedside manner. Clear communication. Genuinely took my concerns into consideration and provided me with a treatment according to that. I had my active 4 year old with me and he was completely unbothered by her. Very highly recommend him!
