Dr. Basques attended medical school at Yale University, where he completed a combined MD and Master of Health Science (MHS) program focused on clinical outcomes research. He completed the prestigious orthopaedic surgery residency at Rush University, where he was an associate team physician for the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago White Sox. After residency, he completed the spine surgery fellowship at the renowned Rothman Insitute, where he was an associate team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, and Philadelphia 76ers.
Dr. Basques has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and he regularly presents spine research at national and international academic meetings. Dr. Basques has an engaging personality. He explains everything well, and really wants to help me recover from my problem. When I left his office today, I felt optimistic that my spine problems would improve, and that he really wanted to help me get well.
