Dr. Bruce Finkel, M.D., is a board certified Allergist. Dr. Finkel has practiced medicine in Savannah since 1995. In 1999 he co-founded Coastal Allergy & Asthma, P.C. and AeroAllergy Research Laboratories of Savannah, Inc.
Dr. Finkel has lectured and published extensively on topics related to allergy, asthma, and other immunological disorders. Dr. Finkel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, the American College of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, and the American Association of Pediatrics, and is also a member of the Southeastern Allergy Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Joint Council of Allergy Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Finkel is one of the few physicians in the region to become a Certified Principal Investigator for ethical standards and practices in clinical research. Dr. Finkel is past Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, Memorial Health University Medical Center, 2001-2003, and is currently Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Mercer University School of Medicine, Savannah Campus.
