Dr. Bruce F. Ferraro, Jr., M.D., earned his medical degree at Florida State University College of Medicine, and completed his residency at Temple University Health. He then finished his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at St. Luke’s University Health Network and an advanced fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Brown University Health. Dedicated to clinical excellence, he integrates his training into patient-centered care, specializing in complex heart rhythm disorders.

Dr. Bruce F. Ferraro, Jr., M.D., is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, with additional certification in Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Ferraro provides comprehensive general cardiology care while specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders.
Dr. Ferraro graduated magna cum laude from the Florida State University Honors Program before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Florida State University College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Temple University Health in Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He then completed his training with an advanced fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Brown University Health in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to joining Cardiovascular Institute, he cared for patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and performed advanced electrophysiology procedures at Brown University Health.
Dr. Ferraro will see patients at both local area hospitals and will primarily have clinics at our Rhythm Management Center at 1936 Jenks Avenue in Panama City, Florida. However, he will occasionally have clinics at our Panama City Beach location to better serve our patients. Both of these offices serve to make electrophysiology services accessible to our many surrounding communities such as Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, Freeport, Bonifay, Chipley, Marianna, Blountstown, Port St Joe and Apalachicola.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ferraro enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, cooking, and making memories with his wife, Amanda, and their young son, Bruce Ferraro III.
