Brittany E. Mayer, DPM, AACFAS, is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon and an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. After graduating from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Mayer completed a three-year PMSR/RRA surgical residency at DVA Maryland/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Following residency, Dr. Mayer completed the Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction and Ortho plastics Fellowship at the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, MD.

After graduating from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Mayer completed a three-year PMSR/RRA surgical residency at DVA Maryland/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, where she served as Chief Resident during her third year of training. Dr. Mayer found her residency training extremely rewarding as she was honored to participate in medical care and treat both active military and veteran patients in the Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC and Martinsburg, WV communities.
Following residency, Dr. Mayer completed the Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction and Ortho plastics Fellowship at the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, MD. Through the Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction Fellowship, Dr. Mayer advanced her training in clinical, radiographic and musculoskeletal evaluation of foot and ankle deformities, with a special interest and focus on minimally invasive/incision techniques for bunion correction as well as minimally invasive foot and ankle surgeries.
Dr. Mayer’s top priority is to incorporate her extensive training into her patient’s treatment plans while providing informative, compassionate, and world class care to all her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Mayer loves traveling internationally, spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors. With a passion for sports, Dr. Mayer continues to support and cheer on her Alma Mater, the University of Maryland Terrapins.

The office was welcoming and inviting. The staff were polite and professional. My wait time was adequate and Dr Mayer was welcoming, friendly, and professional. She explained what was happening with my foot and ankle, preformed different medical test maneuvers with my foot and ankle. Also, check to see how my physical therapy (PT), is coming along and explained the continue benefits of the (PT), and the program that the therapist has setup for myself. Also, she gave me good news as the ankle continues to heal and my process from when I first came into the office. Thank you so much Dr. ayner fir your continuous care and services.
Dr. Mayer was very personable. Explained my son's condition to him and I in a way we both understood. She also told us what her concerns were and also explained she is looking long term so he will hopefully have a long standing sports career if that's what he chooses.
