Dr.Selio is the absolute best! She takes her time when I’m there and doesn’t rush out. She listens and gives me the time I need to ask questions and get the answers I need. My husband and I struggled for 9 years to have a baby and I’m so thankful I found Dr. Selio. We have a healthy little girl and are hopeful with her help we will be able to grow our family again.

Dr. Brigitte Selio, M.D., graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. She joined Woodlawn Medical Professionals, Rochester, Indiana, in October 2020.
“The people, patients, and coworkers make working here worth it,” she said.
When asked what she likes about her specialty, Dr. Selio shared, “Women’s health care is my favorite, especially the continuity of care through preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.”
When she is not caring for patients or delivering babies, she enjoys raising chickens, learning Spanish on Duolingo, and listening to podcasts.
Dr. Selio’s special areas of interest in family medicine include women’s health, family planning, and obstetrics. As an advocate for women’s health and education, Dr. Selio served as a preceptor for an advanced obgyn elective rotation for third-year resident physicians. Her other passions in healthcare include pediatrics, as well as wellness medicine.
