A graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Damitz earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He then underwent podiatric medicine and surgery internship and residency training at Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, New York.
Dr. Damitz stays active by bike riding and hiking and also occasionally enjoys traveling, watching movies, and playing video games.

What a kind, down to earth doctor! Not only did he know what was wrong with my foot, but his bedside manner is incredible. He really lets you know he cares about you as a person and about your life. That trait in a doctor is hard to come by. Very glad Dr. Damitz was recommended to me!
