Dr. Brian T. Damitz is a board-certified podiatric surgeon specializing in orthotics and foot and ankle surgery who joined Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in 2014. Dedicated to helping patients improve and return to full function, Dr. Damitz treats complex foot and ankle injuries and conditions and specializes in ankle replacement, foot and ankle reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction, and foot and ankle fractures as well as minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques.
A graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Damitz earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He then underwent podiatric medicine and surgery internship and residency training at Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, New York.
Dr. Damitz stays active by bike riding and hiking and also occasionally enjoys traveling, watching movies, and playing video games.
