Two knee injections were done by Shafer, they really hurt. Third injection was done by PA and it was painless. Use a smaller needle.

have a fractured right clavicle. Broken in half. Doc explained why he is against surgery. He did not physically put hands on. You can see that my collar bone is broken. Told me to give it 3 weeks and come back. Wow.

Dr. Shafer has been great through my entire recovery of my broken shoulder. His nurse is awesome too. I miss the old office. The xray tech there was a great guy. This new office feels so clinical but it appears it was for a efficiency with a big practice.

Also I asked about continuing PT and he said it’ll just make it worse. Wasted my time coming to see him and then I see him in the hallway laughing on his phone. Very dissatisfied

They took 4 X-rays ...Dr Shafer never even brought the films into the room to my type 3 separated shoulder pain.... Due to all the pain...I wanted to get a Cortisone shot ... He wouldn’t give the shot that would have helped....my $40 co pay was for him to just say no exercise? ...it is 2am and I can’t sleep due to the pain...I’m Very Mad about this...not sure but I’m thinking he doesn’t feel comfortable in his ability to administer a cortisone shot into my shoulder....not happy with this practice!

Can’t even hold a fax!

I don't know what it is about health care professionals and their disrespect of patient's time. Fifteen minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment, the X-Ray tech came in and informed me Dr. Shafer required more X-Rays than I brought. By the time that procedure was complete, it was over an hour past my scheduled appointment time that Dr. Brian walked in to visit. He was VERY LOUD!!!! I wish he could just turn the volume down. The process was pretty smooth and professional and the office is very clean. The staff all seemed knowledgeable and Dr Shafer was able to understand my issue and give me great diagnoses that sounds like it will resolve my issue.

Waited 55 minutes, past my appt time to see the doctor only to have him spend less than 5 minutes feigning interest as I recited the issues I had come to see him about. His ”bedside” manner is reminiscent of a auto mechanic and made me feel like I was wasting his precious time. In my opinion, doctors should show care and concern for their patients and not just go thru the motions to rush them out the door. Going forward, I will NOT be going back to this office or this doctor.

I'm not very happy with my visit. He was aggressive and in too big of a hurry. I had x rays taken, but he never brought them up or went over them with me. I feel that he was very quick on making a recommendation for me and wasnt very thorough.
