As a patient I expect to be able to speak to my health care providers openly. I may have questions and need more information ℹ️ r clarification. On the flip side, I know the provider that came to see me had much information to give to me. I did feel like there was a “script “ she had to follow. That sucked! I am very familiar with the veins and how they work and what seemingly helps. For goodness sakes, I am in the field of orthotics and prosthetics! I get how this works, because I appreciated the Nurse Practitioner’s attempt to further my knowledge.
What I didn’t appreciate was the wiggle at the door like she needed to hurry up. WHAT?! You are getting retro treat me but rush the nurse out of the room?
Leaves me feeling, am I there to get a true help in my vein disease or are you out to see as many patients as possible to fill your financial wants?
Just a curious patient that may have treatment from your facility.
