I know firsthand how badly a spinal injection can go after seeing what my son went through following his hip replacement. The anesthesiologist reeked of weed. He made several attempts (7) to find the right spot. The headache that followed took days, a magnesium cocktail and a blood patch to get it under control. Having a skilled provider such as Dr. Klagges with x-ray guidance and confidence makes all the difference!
I have been seeing Dr Klagges for many years he is one of my favorite Dr.s @ NH Orthopedic. He is very professional & always takes the time to listen to my concerns & comes up with the best plan for my medical issues.
He's great, he listened to me. And answered my questions so I could understand. He is very compassionate.

Although I’ve had a number of back injections this was the first time that Dr. Klagges performed this procedure on me. I really liked the 1-on-1 conference we had prior to my injection where Dr. Klagges asked me about my previous injections and what “was” and “was not” working for me. I also appreciated that during the procedure he explained everything that he was doing while performing the injection. Finally, after the procedure was done he didn’t automatically set up my next shot but wanted to meet with me first to see how this shot went, which I think is a logical next step. He was very easy to talk to and very professional.

He takes his time talking to you and doesn’t make you feel rushed. For an adult that hates shots, I feel much more at ease going into the procedure. He’s quick and efficient. Very personable. And the music played during the procedure is a nice touch.
