He received his medical degree at Emory School of Medicine in 1989, and finished his urology training at Emory University Hospital in 1995. Dr. Hale has served as Chief of Surgery and is credited with several publications. He has presented research data at the national urology convention and has been involved in several research studies while in private practice. Dr. Hale has served as a clinical instructor in laparoscopy and taught the hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy to urologists in central Florida, traveling to hospitals to help urologists with their first laparoscopic procedures.

We’ve been going to Dr. Hale for a while to address my husband‘s prostate issue. He’s professional quite knowledgeable and to the point. So much to the point that he comes off a bit dismissive and uncaring. He danced around, giving me a direct answer regarding bloodwork of which he ordered and said we need to check with our primary for the answers to that. Which I believe is a bit unfair. I would recommend him with a caveat to tell the person I give the recommendation to about his terse demeanor, the office staff is great front desk. People are really friendly and welcome you. His PA needs a little work on her personality.

Very upsetting and stressful experience. The possibility of cancer was discussed repeatedly before any test results were available, which caused unnecessary anxiety and left me feeling unsettled after the visit. I believe serious possibilities should be discussed with greater care and context when there are no confirmed findings.

The only thing I have to complain about is the layout of the office. There is a long hallway to get to the office after exiting the elevator. It is difficult for elderly people with mobility issues. The main entrance to the office should be upfront near the elevator

I waited for over an hour for a televisit. When I call after 45 minutes to see what was going on the person on the phone told me to hold and maybe wait for 10 minutes before he came back with an answer. Only then did I get seen. Why came on the line he spent roughly 1 minute with me. That is not service. That is using me to catch up. Unacceptable my book.
