Kind, efficient RN and Nuclear Med Tech running the Stress Lab. I had a concern over the reusing of the elastic band used around each patient to secure the electrodes. I saw zero infection control practices in the process between patients. Perhaps disposable bands should be in use? The band cannot be cleaned with Saniwipes - or any other wet disinfectant. And the timing between patients is too tight to allow that anyway. Yes, adds cost. So maybe back to a band that can be wiped down between patients? And, visible handwashing also needs to be a part of the process. Rework that concern and your program could earn a 5. Results were also quickly completed and reported.
