Dr. Elliott grew up in upstate New York. He attended undergraduate school at State University of New York College of Brockport. While working on his undergraduate studies, Dr. Elliott was a driver in the NASCAR modified series in the Northeast. Dr. Elliott retired from racing before attending medical school in Chicago, Illinois.
During residency, Dr. Elliott attended the basic and advanced AO trauma courses. After completing residency, Dr. Elliott completed an AO trauma fellowship at the University Clinic of Graz, Austria in 2002. Dr. Elliott also attended the Duke University flap course.
Dr. Elliott is one of the co-founders of Indiana's only nationally approved foot and ankle fellowship program through American Health Network; 2002-present. He continues to work in training education. He is an attending for both the St. Vincent and Community East foot and ankle residency training programs.

Great doctor
Very knowledgable and caring. Explains issue in detail. Honest.
One of the most detail oriented doctor I’ve been to. I like that he personally wraps my foot, put on my cast, and helped me put on the boot. He makes sure I don’t have any more questions and usually asks twice !!! Will highly recommend Dr Elliott !!

Excellent bedside manner
Dr. Elliot described my condition and plan for recovery very well.
I messed up my foot pretty bad, within hours Doctor Elliott was performing surgery. He is a great surgeon, and has made me feel comfortable throughout the healing process. I feel very fortunate.
Dr. Elliott is Excellent!! He takes his time explaining the patient’s condition as well as the upcoming procedure and encourages the patient to ask questions. Dr. Elliott and his entire team are very supportive and professional! I highly recommend him.
