Dr. Colburn grew up in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School.
He earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona.
