I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bast. From the moment I became a patient, I felt heard, respected, and truly cared for. Dr. Bast takes the time to listen, explains things clearly, and treats me as a person—not just a diagnosis. His compassion, knowledge, and dedication make a real difference. Dr Bast has been my physician for a while and I am so impressed with how he takes into consideration every possible aspect of my care regarding pain management. He is caring and very easy to talk to. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Bast was so gentle while giving me the epidural shots in my back. No real pain at all. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Bast is truly a caring, kind and top notch physician who looks at all your data: Mri reports, scans, testing to come up with his recommendations for treatment. He is thoughtful and patient and takes excellent care of his patients.

At Beth Israel, Dr. Bast had the good fortune to work with nationally ranked athletes and learned from prominent leaders in spine care. He has provided medical coverage for various sporting events and is particularly interested in repetitive sports injuries such as patello-femoral syndrome and swimmer’s shoulder.
