This was my first time meeting with Dr. Wilhoit. He was welcoming, introducing himself and immediately making me feel at ease. He reviewed the x-rays, explained what he saw and asked me for my concerns, any limitations and offered some suggestions as to managing my shoulder. Dr. Wilhoit asked what I did weekly for exercise and showed me things to do as well as what I should not do. He listened to my thoughts and concerns then together we decided the best path forward and options to consider if I started having more problems and/or pain. Reviewed my case. Performed a good physical exam ,explained to me the findings, used an ultrasound to rule out additional problems and gave me a shot of Cortisone .My knee feels much better already.

In less than 24 hours, I had a better day at work where I could walk without the big deal of pain. It’s a shame that you guys can’t do the surgery procedure now because your thigh schedule. As a result I will be getting a MRI for a possible torn meniscus and we will go from there. The appointment scheduling went well, my visit did not take long at all and the office staff were efficient, kind and courteous. So far so good!!
