When you get in to see the doctor, the process of seeing the medical asst, the nurse practitioner and then doctor was just too long and duplicative. Of note, when I was sitting in lobby waiting room for an hour for an hour hear that “nurse practioner” talking to a patient for quite a while urging her to go back to work. I wondered if it was someone from sn insurance company. I couldn’t figure out what was going on. But then that person turned out to be the “nurse practioner” for Dr Teran. I was shocked when she came in to see me before I saw the Doctor and I realized she was the same person in the lobby talking to a patient! I think Dr Teran is absolutely wonderful but she turned me off.

After completing chemotherapy, I met with Dr. Teran to discuss ongoing back issues. While at the appointment, Dr. Tehran provided me with a clear explanation as to the cause of my severe neuropathy. I was unaware one of the chemo drugs I had been given causes the excessive pain I was experiencing, nor did I understand the length of time the pain could continue. Dr. Tehran also discussed which medications would help the neuropathy best, none of which were painkillers, previously prescribed by my oncologist. It was the first time I have had a clear understanding of the source of my pain as well as what to expect. Knowing Dr, Tehran is managing my pain in the best way possible is reassuring, to say the least. I was extremely grateful for the information disseminated, as well as the amount of time he spent with me.

I have his patient for several years. He is always attentive, listens to everything that I have to say. He is very caring, professional. He performs every treatment in the most sensitive and caring way. Always with the most concern for my pain tolerance. I would give him only the highest rating!!!

Great Doctor, really cares about resolving your pain conditions

Dr. Teran successfully treated my lower back pain two years ago. He is now treating me for neck and shoulder pain which has improved over the past few weeks. He treats conservatively and is very thorough at explaining the available options. I am very happy with his treatment.

He’s a good doctor but I had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours to get to see him for a 10 minute follow up.
