Dr. Brett Rosenblatt joined Long Island Vitreoretinal consultants in 2004. He received his bachelor's degree at Tufts University where he graduated with summa cum laude honors. He went on to earn his medical degree at the Stony Brook School of Medicine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Rosenblatt moved to Philadelphia and completed his internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center where he received the Glaxo-Wellcome award for outstanding intern. Remaining in Philadelphia, he then went to Wills Eye Hospital for his ophthalmology residency. After serving as Chief Resident at Wills, he moved to St. Louis to receive his Vitreoretinal fellowship training with Barnes Retina Institute at Washington University.
Dr. Rosenblatt has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and authored several book chapters. Along with his partners at Long Island Vitreoretinal Consultants, he continues to dedicate time to the type of clinical research that will likely dramatically improve the care of his patients suffering from vision-threatening retinal diseases.
Dr. Rosenblatt’s areas of expertise include retinal detachment repair, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, and vein occlusions. It is an ongoing goal of his to provide his patients with the best possible care, utilizing the best technology and medical advances in a personalized caring manner. Dr. Rosenblatt is accepting new patients and is available at our Hauppauge and Riverhead locations.

I like that good frozen black is very nice and the staff is always nice. I just don’t like that. It takes over an hour to get to see him. My appointment was for 745 and I didn’t get into see him till 845.
Always caring
Dr. Rosenblatt is gentle. From the first.visit about two years ago he listened to my concerns and he doesn’t give an injection hi, don’t need one. I appreciate that and I also appreciate his staff.
