Dr. Brent Whited is a fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in hip and knee conditions as well as hip and knee joint replacement and revision. Dr. Whited joined Steindler Orthopedic Clinic in August 2010.
A graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Dr. Whited went on to complete an internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He then completed fellowship training focused on adult reconstruction at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
When he's not seeing patients, Dr. Whited enjoys running, traveling, playing the piano, and spending time with his family.

Hes great! Takes time to listen, surgery went so well that most of the time I forget I have a hip replacement. Plus he laughs at my humor!
He had time to answer all of my questions and made me feel like a real person . I would recommend him to anyone.
He was friendly and professional. He listed my options and we decided on the best course of action.
Dr. Whited was very Professional, Knowledgeable and Friendly...He answered my many questions regarding my upcoming surgical procedure and made me feel more at ease regarding my Orthopedic condition.
Great bedside manner
Everyone at Steindler from the front desk to the check-out and everything in between was stellar, as usual. You always do a fantastic job with wait times and Dr Whited explained everything he was doing. Once again thanks for the great service and I recommend Steindler North Liberty to anyone. Just one question. Why are the hip and knee doctors the longest walk?
I was a little early but he still got me right in. When I left my pain was nearly gone. I felt like living again.
