Dr. Brent Whited is a fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in hip and knee conditions as well as hip and knee joint replacement and revision. Dr. Whited joined Steindler Orthopedic Clinic in August 2010.
A graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Dr. Whited went on to complete an internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He then completed fellowship training focused on adult reconstruction at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
When he's not seeing patients, Dr. Whited enjoys running, traveling, playing the piano, and spending time with his family.

Great doctor! He did a wonderful job on both my husband and my knee replacement.
He’s always willing to answer all my questions and he’s very courteous about even answering this stupid ones.
This man has gave me a reason to live again. 15 years I lived with bone on bone knees. Every other surgeon kept moving the goal post. To young then to big. Not Dr. whited. And I’ve run into so many with the same story. A little over two months I had both knees done and got a new lease on life.
Can’t say enough good things about him he cares about his patience and wants to make peoples lives better as far as getting your knees done I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.
He’s just a good doctor. Always caring and does his job fast and efficiently. Takes time with his patients and explains what is going to happen and the outcome.
He's awesome. He listens .... doesn't judge. Kind and patient and even has a sense of humor. As he told me himself .... he is a very popular man! He did my knee surgery a few years ago and will be doing my other knee this spring.
Always a pleasure.
