I'm telling every doctor I've come in contact with that one medication works enough to get sleep, and they're all treating me like I'm a drug addict for requesting it becauseit it is a narcotic, and/or I don't deserve relief. I don't care about the current metrics regarding drug abuse/addiction. I care about getting enough sleep/rest to get better. I'm a full time employee with the City of Phoenix, but cannot work in this condition. I'm clearly not looking to get "high", but rather looking for relief to a very painful and devastating condition. I'd expect doctor's use better discretion regarding these matters, for I cannot return to work while on narcotics. Discretion is key, and I feel discretion was thrown out the window because of some irrelevant metric (in my opinion) that doctor's are staying far away from

I believe in a comprehensive and individualized evaluation and treatment plan, tailored to fit each patient’s unique goals and values. I take pride in working with patients to overcome their injury, maximize function, and prevent future illness. I also enjoy spending time with each patient to explain the “what” and “why” of their diagnosis and the range of treatment options available. Ultimately, I strive to empower each patient with the knowledge and tools to return to the activities they enjoy and get back to living their best life, now!”
