Always consistent ,great staff , and positive attitude.

Never have eye seen so many state of the art machines for checking eyes. My previous Opthalmologist is still working with technology that was invented when Lindburg flew across the Atlantic. The office is set up intelligently, each machine has its own small room, and you move from room to room. A regular assembly line with no waiting. It's quick and efficient. The staff (plenty of them) are all very friendly, and helpful. The procedures went quickly and 99% painless. They found a problem I'd never heard of. They performed a procedure called P I, This is where the pain came from. Expecting your reaction an assistant holds your head in place. Then the laser hits in a flash of light and you recoil from the sharp sting of the laser. Not painful mind you, but definitely caring, thus the assistant. I was so impressed I scheduled the cataract surgery for my right eye the following week. Dr Bellotte is a pleasant man with a great demeanor.

As a diabetic who has glaucoma, I have two eye examinations a year, which are essential for preserving my vision, which has held steady since my diagnosis. Every six months I get specific tests appropriate to my condition. While my field of sight narrowed slightly before being diagnosed with glaucoma, I have had no further loss of vision in over 7 years. When he first began treating me, Dr. Bellotte replaced my internal lenses with artificial lenses, giving me 20-20 vision for the first time in my life. Previously anything more than 5 inches from my face was blurred and I could only see the big E on the eye chart. I have been highly satisfied with Dr. Bellotte’s services and that of his highly competent staff. (I also look forward to seeing Manny, his canine associate.)

After Emily conducted multiple vision tests, I waited in a closed exam room while Dr. Bellotte reviewed my tests. It took quite a while (20-30 minutes) before Dr. Bellotte entered the exam room to share my test results with me and complete the rest of his exam (insertion of punctual plugs). Sitting for that length of time in a closed exam room may be a necessary evil, but it’s boring. Suggestion: Maybe staff can put a few magazines in the room? Next time I’ll bring one in with me from the waiting room or I’ll bring a book with me!

I Was scheduled with the wrong doctor although I have called twice to insure I’m scheduled with the right doctor and then when I arrived they made me fill out and sign a new patient PPWK although I have been a patient there for over 5 years and even after I brought that to their attention the desk girls still insisted that I was wrong until a third front desk attendant discovered that I was correct after she looked it up…Had to leave to reschedule for another day maybe!!! Constant change of personnel, no relationship with patients!!!

This guy is unbelievable and he has a first class operation that’s for sure I’ve had my right die done cataract surgery. Unbelievable I fell asleep during the operation so you must understand that. I was very comfortable with him as my doctor I’d give him a AAA rating that’s for sure High number two on Wednesday I’m sure I have absolutely nothing to worry about this guy is great. You can’t help it be comfortable around him.

I love Dr Bellotte but I think time waiting is too much. I rushed to get to my 1:20 appointment and there were 15 people I waiting room. I wasn’t called until 2:15. Then had to wait 15 minutes after testing for Dr.

I was told my procedure wasn’t covered under the insurance which was fine, however, they told me that after my 3rd visit. They wasted my time and 3 copayments after 4 months with no improvement. I think they need to the explain the situation and the options available from the beginning instead of wasting people time and collecting payments for visits. Extremely unhappy and will never recommend them
